In the field of woodworking, the application of cutting tools is becoming increasingly common. Its advantage is that it can quickly replace various tools and perform various machining processes, and the servo tool library system is one of the devices used for tool storage and tool replacement. The automatic tool changing mechanism and the tool magazine or holder that can store multiple types of tools, under the control of the CNC system, can complete various machining requirements such as milling, drilling, lining, tapping, etc.

Servo turret manufacturers believe that various machine tool components use control axes to move on designated guide rails. Machine tool designers choose different types of guide rail systems based on the type and purpose of the machine tool, which are widely used in the following three types: flat guide rails, linear rolling guide rails, and rolling element guide rails composed of circulating rollers and flat guide rails.


Servo turret

The servo turret manufacturer believes that although there are various forms of guide rail systems, their working characteristics are the same. The working parts of the machine tool move on the designated guide rail system, especially when the train is running along the track in the designated direction. It mainly embodies the following three basic functions:

1. Movement of the guide rail carrier;

2. Provide a smooth moving surface for the carrier;

3. Transfer the cutting force of the machine tool to the foundation or bed to reduce the impact on passive machined parts. Most of the motion along the guide rail system is linear motion, with a few being arc-shaped motion. Many technologies of linear guides can be directly applied to curved guides.

The servo turret manufacturer believes that before processing the guide rail, the guide rail and working components have already aged to eliminate internal stress. To ensure the accuracy of the guide rail and extend its service life, scraping is a commonly used process method.

1. Linear guide rail

The servo turret manufacturer believes that the new guide rail system enables the machine tool to achieve a fast feed speed, which is a characteristic of linear guides when the spindle speed is the same. Linear guides, like flat guides, have two basic elements; One is a fixed component used as a guide, and the other is a moving component. To ensure the accuracy of the machine tool, it is essential to perform a small amount of scraping and grinding on the bed or column. Generally, installation is relatively simple.

Replace the intermediate medium between the moving and fixed components of the linear guide with rolling steel balls. Due to its suitability for high-speed motion, low friction coefficient, and high sensitivity, rolling steel balls can meet the working requirements of moving parts such as machine tool holders and tool holders.

2. Linear roller guide rail

The servo turret manufacturer believes that linear roller guide is a combination of flat guide and linear roller guide. Rollers are installed on parallel guide rails, using rollers instead of steel balls to carry the moving parts of the machine tool. Its advantages are large contact area, high load-bearing capacity, and high sensitivity. The bracket and roller are placed at the top and side of the flat guide rail from the rear of the bed. In order to achieve high precision, a wedge-shaped plate is set between the working parts of the machine tool and the inner surface of the bracket, so that the preload force acts on the side of the bracket. The working principle of a wedge is similar to that of an inclined iron, with the weight of the working part acting on the top surface of the bracket. Because the preload acting on the guide rail system is adjustable, it compensates for the loss of the wedge plate. This feature is widely used in medium and large machine tools because it is sensitive to CNC instructions and can withstand heavy loads. The linear roller guide system can withstand high-speed operation and improve machine performance.

3. Inlaid steel guide rail
